Scholarships and Case Study Competition We are pleased to announce that Cargill, Deloitte LLP, Ernst & Young LLP, ING and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP have all partnered with Ascend to create individual scholarships for enterprising and high-achieving students. Don’t delay - the deadlines are coming up fast! Cargill: Two $2,000 scholarships to rising undergraduate junior students enrolled full-time at a four-year U.S. college/university majoring in finance, accountancy, taxation or finance. DEADLINE: July 1, 2010
Deloitte: One $3,000 scholarship to a full-time rising sophomore, junior or senior (if in a 5-year program) enrolled at a U.S. college/university with an academic and professional interest in accounting.
Ernst & Young: Four $5,000 scholarships to full-time rising sophomore or junior accounting majors. DEADLINE: July 14, 2010
ING: Two $2,500 scholarships to rising junior, senior or graduate students majoring in accountancy, finance, taxation, management information systems or business-related programs. Must be an active member in local community activities. DEADLINE: July 1, 2010
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP: Up to three $3,000 scholarships to freshmen, sophomores or juniors (if in a 5-year program) majoring in accounting at an accredited institution of higher learning. DEADLINE: June 18, 2010 Be a part of the Case Study Competition New this year … We are pleased to announce the first case competition sponsored by KPMG LLP. Participate in a team and compete with your peers! The Case Study Competition presents students with the challenges of facing a real-world issue in a collegial and competitive environment. Due to the popularity of this event, space is limited - register now! Monetary prizes will be awarded to the first- and second- place teams.
