Ascend / PricewaterhouseCoopers 2010 ScholarshipIn an effort to recognize some of the top students on campus, PricewaterhouseCoopers is working in conjunction with Ascend to reward deserving students with scholarships and exposure to PwC. The program includes three (3) $3,000 scholarships.
To qualify, you must: 1. Be a Freshman, Sophomore or Junior (if in a 5 year program), 2. Have a strong academic standing (3.5 GPA or higher), 3. Be majoring in accounting at an accredited institution of higher learning, 4. Be authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship in the future, 5. Be an Ascend member, 6. Complete a PwC Talent Profile at www.pwc.com/getstarted, and 7. Be willing to interview for a PwC internship and not have had previous work experience with other top accounting firms. Application process: Please provide your (1) resume including current GPA; (2) personal essay: the PricewaterhouseCoopers core values are Leadership, Excellence and Teamwork. Your essay should describe how you have demonstrated one or all of these values in your academic and/or professional career and why you believe these values are important.
